From an early partnership crafting rowdy mixtapes in Atlanta with legendary producer Malay, YelaWolf has down music his own way with the half-Cherokee emcee, a DJ and fiddle player crafting a "futuristic country hip-hop rock band" that tore up the local scene, but gradually fizzled out. Broke and just about out of options, Yelawolf desperately put together his breakthrough album, Trunk Muzik 0-60, in a week and a half. YelaWolf's spitfire delivery, melodic hooks and caustic lyrics earned the album a proper underground following and by the time the young rapper was ready to go back in the studio, he received guest shots from Kid Rock, Lil Jon, Gangsta Boo and Eminem, spitting and executive producing his new record, Love Story.
