Make sure to ask all sorts of questions. And when they tell you the lodging has been recently built make sure you ask them details. As our Suite Sue had NOT been recently built, but recently rolled in. A mobile home trailer. although nice, we were looking forward to the cabin like feel. the view out the back door was the back of the raft building. I could reach out and touch it. The bathrooms have carpet and get soaked EASILY. We asked the office staff to fix the burners as they had flames over 5 inches high and two burners did not work. They proudly stated it was fixed, by providing a lighter. UGH. because they did not fix the prob the pans burned and left black stuff all over our hands and rags. The dishwasher was out of service. The grill was nasty and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. Wasps lived in the hole that was once, or going to be, the outside light. so we had to dodge them at all times when we wanted to relax on the newly built porch. the only wood the place had Also, make sure you bring plenting of cards, board games or such because if the river is up there is NOTHING to do. No playground for little ones. Volley ball or basket ball and you must provide your own ball. The teenagers in the office are NO help and do not answer questions in a way that helps at all. The only helpful person there was there One day out of the 4 day vacation. There is nothing in the store that amounts to any sort of food accidently forgotten. One must go into town. The only thing worthwhile was the float trip.
