April, quiet hours at Keystone State Park begin at 10pm, and as always the swimming is at your own risk. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the park at 918-865-4991. Thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From April on 07/25/15

I live nearby and my kids really enjoy swimming out there, but the heat really gets to them quick. What time is curfew or whatever for people that aren't staying overnight? I would like to bring the kids in the evening but it's not worth the drive if we will be asked to leave at sundown

From rita hager on 07/21/15

i have been here before

From TravelOK.com Staff on 07/20/15

Taryn, while swimming is allowed, the park is encouraging everyone to be careful and wear water shoes, as some grills are still underwater. If you have any questions, please call the park office at 918-865-4991. Thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Taryn on 07/19/15

Are there coffee pots and toasters in the cabin kitchens?

From TravelOK.com Staff on 07/06/15

David, our last update from Keystone State Park came on June 29, and at that time swimming was discouraged because of high water levels and debris in the water. However, the park staff will be able to give you up-to-the-minute information if you'll give them a call at 918-865-4991. Thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From David Hart on 07/05/15

Melanie, as long as your dog is kept on a leash no longer than 10 feet, supervised at all times and cleaned up after, then your furry friend is welcome at Keystone State Park. In fact, all state parks are pet friendly. Thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Melanie on 06/16/15

Is this a pet friendly state park? My family want to walk some trails and would love to bring our Dane along for the stroll.

From lynn on 06/04/15

Went to the lake to book a site, drove 40 miles to do it, then find out that you have to book online then they charge another $8 fee for booking online. In the past I could have booked there in person without the extra fee. Not going to go now. I will go somewhere that isn't trying to drain my wallet.

From Nick on 06/03/15

I spoke with the marina on June 3, 2015. They said they do not rent paddle boats.

Charlotte, at this time all the tent sites at Keystone State Park are available on a first come, first serve basis. However, you are more than welcome to call the park at 918-865-4991 to check how full the campgrounds are before heading out. Another option is to reserve an RV site and set your tent up on it. To make an RV site reservation, click the green button at the top of this page. Please keep in mind that you'll be paying for the site and not the sleeping unit, so it will be a bit more. If you have any other questions about visiting, feel free to call the park office at any time. Thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Richard Cathey on 10/04/14

Looking forward to visit Keystone State Park mid to late Oct 2014. I can not find much about the camping sites on the information of Oklahoma State Parks. I would like to know the size of the camp site, the space between camp sites, and maybe some photos othe camp area and park.

From TravelOK.com Staff on 09/29/14

Carla, at this time the construction is still going on. Our current information says 'The road leading from US 412/Hwy 64 over the Keystone Dam, also known as Oklahoma 151, and into Keystone State Park will be closed until November 2014. Visitors coming from the west are asked to take exit 59 and head south on OK-48 to OK-51, then turn east. Visitors coming from the east on US 412 are advised to turn south on OK-97/OK-51 in Sand Springs. Follow OK-51 across the Arkansas River and turn right to remain on OK-51 until you see signs to enter the park.' Since you're visiting the first week in November, your best bet is to call the park staff at 918-865-4991 and check with them before you leave. Best wishes and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Carla on 09/28/14

Is there a problem still with road construction? Looking at coming the first week of November.

From TravelOK.com Staff on 09/24/14

Riley, at this time all campsite reservations can only be made online by clicking the green 'Book RV Campsites' button at the top of this page. You are more than welcome to book an RV site online and put your tent on it, but please keep in mind that you will be paying for the site and not the sleeping unit. Of course, there are also plenty of first come, first serve sites that are not listed in the reservation system. There isn't a maximum number of people who can stay on a site, per say, but only one tent is allowed per site, though one child's tent may also be placed on that site at no additional cost. For more information, please call the park office at 918-865-4991. Best wishes and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Riley McCracken on 09/23/14

Can i get the telephone and or email to make a reservation for a tent site? And is there a maximum amount of people per tent site?

For more information or to make a reservation, please call 918-865-4991. You can also book online using the green booking link at the top of this page. From TravelOK.com Staff on 07/08/14

Kay, absolutely. There are plenty of first come, first serve sites to choose from, so you can just set up your tent tonight on one of them and pay in the morning. Either a camp host will be by to collect your dues or you can pay at the office. Please note the road leading from US 412/Hwy 64 over the Keystone Dam, also known as Oklahoma 151, and into Keystone State Park is closed. Visitors coming from the west are asked to take exit 59 and head south on OK-48 to OK-51, then turn east. Visitors coming from the east on US 412 are advised to turn south on OK-97/OK-51 in Sand Springs. We have used the community for our Christmas Party for several years now. It is the perfect location for our two offices. We take advantage of the rent 10 cabins and receive the community center at no charge offer. The cabins and community center are very nice and fits our needs nicely. I look forward to having many more Christmas parties out there.

From tulsa on 11/26/13

I have visited this park and have seen nothing but great staff and the cabins are top notch...luckily I have several other parks and cabins to compare them to...and they are heads above. Everyone I have spoke with is informative and professional and absolutely try to provide you with the best accomodations possible...5 stars for keystone...as for the naked folks the view and scenery is so captivating and it such a beautiful place...the moments can be overwhelming and make you forget about everything else...you can escape into your own world out there...then realize your naked on a picnic table in public.

From Welch on 11/17/13

Our time here was very nice! We have four little ones and they really enjoyed the experience

From TravelOK.com Staff on 10/29/13

TB, thank you for your comment. We are so sorry about your recent experience at Keystone State Park. In no way do we condone this behavior. From TB on 10/29/13

Well my wife and I stayed out there last night and she stayed the day there today while I was at work, although she was a little scared but decided to go walking around anyway and ran across naked people doing their thing on the picnic table. Not what one wants to see at a state park.

From KB on 10/26/13

I was at KSP yesterday scouting out camp sites for a multi-family camp out planned for November 1 through 3. I don't understand why you would have your nicest, especially for tent campers, campground already closed. Osage Hills State Park and Okmulgee State Park don't close their bathrooms or campgrounds until the first freeze warning. Is there any way that the Red Carpet Country area can be re-opened? We would really like to stay as close to Tulsa as possible because some of the families in our group will only be able to come out for Saturday the 2nd. The other two areas are completely unacceptable from an aesthetic perspective and a practical one. Why are bathrooms at campgrounds always so far from tent sights and yet so close to RV sights when RVs presumably have their own bathrooms?

From TravelOK.com Staff on 10/09/13

Bobby, we're currently experiencing some issues with the site, which we are working to resolve. Until then, please call Keystone State Park at 918-865-4991 for availability and reservation information. Best wishes and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Denise on 08/03/13

Can we reserve an rv site at the state park online?

From TravelOK.com Staff on 08/01/13

Joanna, the most up-to-date information we received was on June 25. At that time, swimming was discouraged in the Washington Irving Beach and Appalachia Bay Beach areas. Those are located about 3-5 miles away from Keystone State Park. For more information, please give the lake manager a call at 918-865-2621 before your trip. From Marci L. on 04/27/12

We stayed in a cabin in Feb. 2012. We were saddened to find mice droppings in all the kitchen cupboards and on the floors. We tried to change cabins, but found mice droppings in the kitchen cupboards as well in that one, too. We stayed put and were given traps. We caught 3-4 mice while staying there. The staff felt badly about it, & they gave us a free night's lodging. Besides this, the cabin was very nice. Lovely view of the lake. Nice grounds. But the mouse issue put a damper on it.

From Staci Lemmons on 10/04/11

spent two nights in the cabin with family. just like staying at an exspensive hotel but without the exspensive part and without all the other ppl. our cabins had a trail that lead strait to the water. i camp at keystone every year and i think ill not stay in anything but them cabins now. i didnt have to bring anything but clothes. they even had dishes that could be used. huge wrap around porches and patios. a grill and two picnic tables at every cabin. was one of the best trips to keystone iv ever had!!

From Terrry Morrison on 07/15/11

Well stayed back in 2000 and finally get to come for a visit for 3 nights in august staying in a bigger cabin and excited to come can't wait to visit had a excellent stay last time I was there I exspect it will be even better in a bigger cabin and all new furniture the state parks have gotten in the last few years. Lookning forward to the great get a way with my family. I advise this park to all.

From N. Collier on 03/26/11

We just got home from staying at this park again and were very happy with our stay. Everything seems modern and well-maintained. We had stayed here a month ago, and decided to book another cabin for last night since we had such a great time. Word to the wise--be sure to clean up! When we checked out today they told us we have a black mark on our rental profile for a long list of things they say we left in poor order last time, and that we may not be allowed to book cabins again. We admit that did not wash the dishes on either visit, and we forgot to take out the trash today, but otherwise we thought we had left everything in good order. They claimed we left a nasty note stating that ''you can do the dishes'' last time, which floored us. We swore to them that we just weren't thinking, we were in vacation mode and just messed up. We offered to go back to the cabin and make amends. They said it was too late, someone was probably already there cleaning up. Oh well.

From The Kern's on 10/07/10

We have stayed in the cabins several time and find it to be a very relaxing get away for us. The cabins have always been clean, well stocked with linens & kitchen items. We found a couple things out of order & reported it, nothing major it was taken care of promptly. We are pretty picky people, but we love it here and tell everyone who'll listen just how much we love staying here.

From Chelsea on 08/29/10

My husband and I stayed here the end of august. We reserved the get away Cabin and after tax it was 152.99 a night....We got there thought everything looked okay, started looking around, you could NOT see the lake from the back, like it says you can then when we pulled our bedding down, we noticed something on the comforter, a blob of some crusted thing, it hadn't been washed Pulled down the shades before we went to bed, and there was DUCT TAPE holding it up!!! If i would have paid 70 dollars a night I probably wouldn't complain but I paid 152 a night and got dirt bedding, duct tape shades, and No view of the lake Very very unhappy!!! Will NOT, would Not recommend this to ANYONE the Lake was very nice but those Cabins not so much. Try Bears Glen Cabins, I don't know if they are any better but they surely can't be any worse than Keystones Cabins

From Dusti on 08/19/10

My family and I have stayed here a few times. The last time we stayed we got a little bigger cabin and we were very pleased. The cabins were nice and clean and the staff was very nice. My husband and children like to go geocashing and they had fun during the day doing that around the lake while I stayed back at the cabin and relaxed with TV and a good book. Even some cooking! I recommend this to everyone that would like to get away with the family! We are actually getting ready to book another long weekend early next year. We really like it in the winter time cause there is nothing better than sitting by the fire at the lake in the cold Oklahoma wintertime! I just love the cabins! Nice big kitchens too! And I don't even complain cooking even though we are away from home! Just bring the food and there is everything else you need right there. Again, my family love it there and we will be going back for many years to come! I can even see my children growing up and taking thier families there! Besides the price being great too I just don't have anything bad to say about the lodging at Keystone Lake!

From Tamera on 08/12/10

I have been there countless times this summer and every other summer since 2001. I must say that i absolutely love it there. During the summer i try to go there at least once a week. As a matter of fact im camping there this weekend.

From Phil on 07/16/10

Ok but could have been much better. We stayed in the Hilltop cabin. The video on the web page is misleading since you can only see the lake in the winter. The trees blocked the entire view of the lake so all we saw at the cabin were trees. Their biggest boat ramp is 4 wide but I was shocked to find it didn't have a dock to aid in loading passengers on the boat. This meant taking a chance of scraping up the bottom of the boat trying to get close enough to shore for loading. They have a lot of camp areas overlooking the lake but no way to get to the edge of the water near the camp sites due to the steep rocky terrain. They should at least add some stairs and a fishing dock for the campers.

From Terry on 06/30/10

stayed here around 2000, I thought it was great loved the staff, very nice, lots of fossils by the lake the whole family loved are stay. hoping to be able to stay in august. looking forward to it. you can please some of the people some of the time but not all the people all the time.

From Sheila Dorris on 06/28/10

VERY UNHAPPY! Supposedly they don't reserve, but they will for CLUBS so the everyday camper can't get a good spot even if there a week ahead of time. They will just tell you YOU have to move! We setup on a spot by the marina to come home to find out we had to move because our site had been reserved over the holiday despite what they tell you on the phone. Couldn't even wait to move our trailer until later had to move next morning because they don't hold spots! NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT! Can't contact ANYONE until hours to find any info out.CAN YOU TELL I'M NOT HAPPY?

From Melissa on 06/19/10

We stayed in a full hook up pull through site. Sites were very close together. No swimming area. An Ok park, probably will not stay here again.
