Enjoy a leisurely trail ride through beautiful south-central Oklahoma at the Lake Murray Riding Stables. Open seasonally, the stables offer guided trail rides, hay rides, events and parties. Whether you've never ridden a horse or are a skilled rider, you'll feel right at home at Lake Murray Riding Stables, just south of Ardmore. Each ride covers about four miles of trails, and takes anywhere from 45 minutes to one hour. Rides leave every hour during operation, weather permitting. The stables are conveniently located within Lake Murray State Park, so swing by to visit these gentle giants.

March 1 to Labor Day: 9am-5pm daily.

After Labor Day to November 30:
Monday-Friday: 12-5pm
Saturday-Sunday: 10am-5pm
Closed Wednesdays.

Seasonal activities available in December; call for information. Closed January-February.

Moonlight or twilight rides available by reservation, minimum of 10 riders.

Group reservations for parties of 8 or more are available outside of normal operating hours with advance reservation.

All rides are weather permitting. Closed during and after heavy rain due to unsafe riding conditions on muddy trails.
Pricing
Horseback Rides:
Ages 6 and up: $30 for guided one hour trail ride.
Children 2 to 5 years old may ride double with adult for an additional $10.
Lead line: $15 (horse led by wrangler in corral only)

Moonlight or twilight rides available by reservation, minimum of 10 riders. $45 for an hour and a half guided ride.
Hayrides and parties are available by reservation. Call for package pricing. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the pricing listed above, prices are subject to change without notice.
