Collinsville Newspaper Museum

View several generations of newspaper production equipment and history spanning over 100 years at the Collinsville Newspaper Museum.  Displays include the equipment to produce "The Collinsville News," founded May 11, 1899 in Collinsville, Indian Territory.  The equipment displays trace the newspaper's history starting with handset type in 1899 through the linotypes of the 1970s and beyond into the computer age.  Other exhibits feature history and photographs of the people and city of Collinsville.

Tours and visits to the Collinsville Newspaper Museum are available by appointment or if the owner is present.   The narrated tour can last anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on questions posed to the tour operator.  Tour maximum is 10 people and a small donation is appreciated but optional.
