The North Tulsa Heritage Foundation features the Mackey Home, a two-story brick home built in 1920 within a thriving area of the black community in north Tulsa. The home was destroyed during the 1921 race riot in Tulsa, but moved and renovated in 1985. It contains home furniture, pictures and other artifacts that have been preserved from that era.
