Visit the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and immerse yourself in a world of art. Located in downtown Oklahoma City's Arts District, the museum’s collection covers a period of five centuries with highlights in European and American art from the nineteenth through twenty-first centuries, a growing collection of contemporary art and one of the world’s largest collections of glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly, including a 55-foot tall glass tower in the museum’s atrium lobby.

The Oklahoma City Museum of Art offers visitors three floors dedicated to exhibiting fine works of art. The museum's Special Exhibition Gallery, located on the ground floor, presents national and international traveling exhibitions, as well as exhibitions organized by the museum. The second and third floor galleries display works from the museum's permanent collection.

The museum also boasts the region’s premier repertory cinema, which screens the finest international, independent and classic films. Inside the 250-seat Samuel Roberts Noble Theater, visitors will find that the museum has incorporated the original 1947 Centre Theater into a visual masterpiece featuring a state-of-the art projection system. The theater is home to the museum’s film program, which offers screenings every Thursday through Sunday.

Inside the theater lobby, be sure to take note of the Waterford crystal chandelier, which is one of two Chihuly Waterford crystal chandeliers in the world. This stunning piece is comprised of 203 individual blown lead crystal parts, each etched by Waterford artisans. The chandelier is 9 feet, 7 inches in height, 5 feet, 5 inches in diameter and weighs 2,000 pounds. It may be viewed from the ground floor or from the mezzanine, which overlooks the theater lobby.

In addition to the Museum Store, the OKCMOA is also home to the Museum Cafe. Located on the ground floor, this full-service restaurant is open to both museum patrons and the general public for an exceptional dining experience. The cafe offers lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch, afternoon tea and a full bar. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available.

For a unique nightlife experience, head to the Roof Terrace of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art on Thursday evenings for Art After 5. The Roof Terrace is a gathering place for downtown workers, adventurous suburbanites, pre-concert and filmgoers, and the art crowd. Located atop the three-story Donald W. Reynolds Visual Arts Center, the Roof Terrace offers a spectacular view of downtown Oklahoma City.

Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art serves over 125,000 visitors annually from all 50 states and over 30 foreign countries and presents exhibitions drawn from throughout the world.
