Explore the After the Floating World: The Enduring Art of Japanese Woodblock Prints exhibition at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, and discover the unique art of Ukiyo-e. These "pictures from the floating world" are carved onto wooden blocks before transformign into colorful paper prints. Themes from the works of Torii Kiyotado VII and Hiroshi Yoshida include a variety of theater imagery, along with elements of landscapes, folktales, female portraiture and mythology.
