"At the Throttle" is your opportunity to be a steam locomotive engineer. Take the reins of the "Iron Horse" as this exciting event comes to the Oklahoma Railway Museum for the first time. The program is a unique opportunity for rail fans to live their dream of running a steam locomotive. You will be able to power down the tracks behind the Flagg Coal Co #75. Participants will enjoy a half hour of running the engine, with supervision of a qualified engineer. You must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. Release forms are required and appropriate clothing for working in a rail yard should be worn at all times. Jeans or overalls with boots are recommended. Those wishing to have their picture taken should bring a camera.
