Pheasant Ridge Hunting
Pheasant Ridge Hunting in Hooker provides 2,000 acres of ranch land in the center of the Oklahoma Panhandle for guided pheasant hunting excursions. Inexperienced and seasoned hunters alike will enjoy the controlled environment of a hunt with Pheasant Ridge Hunting. The property includes both wild and released Ringnecked Pheasants for a unique hunting experience.
Guests are invited to the Hooker property between September 1 and March 31 for the hunts. Hunters are accompanied by a guide and a trained hunting dog to roam the property that has been selectively mowed for the best viewing. Food and water for the pheasants has been strategically placed on the grounds, as well, ensuring a successful hunt.
Hunters wishing to stay overnight may do so in the on-site lodge. Pheasant Ridge Hunting provides a renovated country dairy barn for guests to stay overnight, equipped with bunk beds, bathrooms, a kitchen and an indoor bird cleaning facility. Overnight guests are provided with three home-cooked meals during their stay. Hunters who select the single-day hunt will be provided one meal. The large lodging facility consists of an open loft sleeping area and one separate bedroom, sleeping 18 guests. A recreational room is on-site, as well, where hunters can enjoy a card game or huddle around the pool table.
