Billy Creek Recreation Area
Located south of the Winding Stair Mountains within the Ouachita National Forest, this campground offers a wonderful primitive camping experience. Off the beaten path, this campground is perfect for those looking for basic camping amenities within a rustic, quiet setting. There are 12 primitive campsites with grills, tables, lantern poles, fire rings and centrally located hydrants. Other amenities include a vault restroom, swim area, picnic area, large pavilion and access to the Choctaw Nations Trail and Billy Creek Trail.

From Hwy 63 and US 259 at Big Cedar, continue W on Hwy 63 for 6 miles to Forest Rd 6022A. Turn N onto Forest Rd 6022A and then E at first intersection. Continue 2 miles to the campground.
