Recreation options range from water slides, miniature golf and paddle boats in the summer to eagle watching, bass and trout fishing in the winter. Visitors can also enjoy exploring area caves, swimming in the heated pool and golfing on the resort’s 18-hole course and lighted driving range.

The Sundance Café, located inside the resort, serves three meals a day in a dining room overlooking Lake Altus and the Wichita Mountains. A large outdoor patio gives diners an even better view during warm months. The menu ranges from salads and stuffed baked potatoes for lunch to chicken fried steak and seared tilapia for dinner. This was a great place to stay we really enjoyed it. That being said we were not told upon our reservation that the heater in the restaurant was broke and had been broke for weeks. It was so cold that you could not enjoy your meal. If you plan on going here I would ask about this. I feel that I should have been warned of this.
