Located in a distinctive building on historic Route 66, it’s no wonder that Russ’ Ribs has attracted an international clientele, as evidenced by the many world travelers who have scrawled a message on one of its walls. And what’s not to like? Owner James Russell uses his own secret dry rub to bring out the true flavor of his smoked meats, including his one-of-a-kind Tri-Tip, an especially lean cut that nevertheless is rendered tender and juicy after a few hours in his smoker. Delicious homemade pecan pie completes the experience.
