The Sand Springs Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sand Springs are dedicated to honoring the history of the Sand Springs community while working to improve the future for residents and businesses. These members and volunteers organize a variety of annual events to help bring the community closer. They also act as the primary source of information about economic development and tourism in the area.

My parents owned the Wekiwa market 1939=1942.I left Oklahoma in 1942 and traveled the world for 29 years at tax payers expense. The last time i was there was 1984
