I rented twin oaks for 3 nights and even though I didn't need all of the space I felt the price was fair so I reserved it. I explained I would probably just have my husband and 2 kids but might bring more because it sleeps 20 so why not. I got their and had already paid for one night and was charged for 3 nights instead of the two additional as agreed and did not realize it. When I got to the cabin their where no sheets on any bed but one so I went back to Secluded Acres store and told Tom the owner he then told me I needed to pay $15 per set and I explained I wasn't sure how many I needed because my sister and her kids might visit. I was charged an additional $85 and he acted like I got a deal. Their is no hot water in the showers, no handle on the stove, the burners are messed up, the fan and light doesn't work, the place was dirty and the tiles are cracked, the wood slats on the bed are gone so you fall in the middle and I'm not fat. You have a men and women's restroom and you have to go outside to get to them like a outhouse.I would NEVER go back I've stayed at other cabins in Broken Bow and had a wonderful experience not this time after one night I'm leaving!!!
We stayed in the Jimmy cabin and enjoyed the hot tub that is on a screened in porch. The cabin is very comfortable and neat and tidy. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
