Description

Boiling Springs State Park, an oasis on the plains, captures some of the finest elements of nature. The park is one of seven original state parks built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps and was named after a natural "boiling" spring that still flows. The park's namesake attraction is showcased in a natural wooden shelter and interpretive center below the park office. Just spent a week at this wonderful camp. The staff was friendly and helpful... the park is gorgeous... and the wildlife are plentiful. And it is close enough to Woodward to slip in for a nice dinner or shopping at your choice of several wonderful establishments. Close enough to four different WMA's to make it a great place for a hunter. We had a wonderful stay and will return at the first possible opportunity.

The cabins run $90 per night. Each one bedroom cabin includes a kitchenette with full size stove, refrigerator, microwave and all the dishes you need, table and chairs, sleeper sofa, flat screen tv with Dish network, and a fireplace.

Tent Sites are $12 per night. RV sites with full hookups (sewer, water, and electric) are $23 per night. RV sites without sewer are $20 per night.

i love it there so much i use to live in woodward oklahoma and i had so much fun until i moved to stupid kansas it is so boring here i wish i could move back i made so many friends and never wanted to leave there but my family wanted to move closer to my grandpa cause he does not have long to live but it is so beautiful there and i miss it so much

although the cabin was very nice and the area is beautiful, i was disappointed in the lake. it is covered with moss and slime and it really needs clean up around the edges. This would add additional beauty to the park.

Due to contruction to the area the Springs viewing area behind the office is closed to the public. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Construction should be completeded mid to late June 2010. Look for dates on the Grand Opening coming soon! All other areas of the park remain open and accessable. Thank you.
