Description

Boiling Springs State Park, an oasis on the plains, captures some of the finest elements of nature. The park is one of seven original state parks built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps and was named after a natural "boiling" spring that still flows. The park's namesake attraction is showcased in a natural wooden shelter and interpretive center below the park office. When visiting for the day, guests can stroll around the structure and learn more about the history of Boiling Springs State Park while taking in the nearby beauty, or turn your visit into an extended stay and spend the night in one of the park's four cabins.

Jennie, nOur trails are easy. However, we do not recommend hiking alone at any time. Cell phone service is not always available on the trails. If something were to happen, you may not be able to get help in a timely manner if you are alone. We always hope that when hiking everything will be fine, be you just never know when an accident could occur. Better to be safe than sorry.

Jennie, The foliage is beautiful! Lots of color! The leaves are falling fast though, so this weekend would probably be the best weekend to come.
