Brenda, the base rate for camping without any hookups is $12 per night. If you get a semi-modern site, which includes electric and water hookups, that is $20 per night. I have gone to this lake my entire life, I have continued to bring my own children here. You will find a few bad seeds anywhere you go, but it is overall a great place to swim, picnic, and just have a safe family get together. The rest rooms are clean and kept stocked.

as for a bad review this person must have been there during a snow storm who knows, Sequoyah bay state parknot Western Hills, same lake, has good security and numerous cameras throughout the park. they did have high levels of water a few months ago but have done alot to get the park prepared for campers and park goers. i go to this park on a regular basis due to its locality and have never had a problem there even while camping several nights at a time.they have recently redone a lot within the park to update it and make it even more beautiful for users. it is quite peaceful and beautiful..with all the amenities needed for a nice weekend outting.

sequoyah bay...you would be better off going to a knock down drag out than this park! if you are not into heavy drinking and swearing ,this is not your park,,dogs run loose also...drugs agogo ,,not worth it rv sites are not kept up,,,grass is to tall.. plain and simple this is a drunks paradise,and no i was not there on a weekend,,can only imagine?? this is a park you could get mugged in be careful

Why can I not find campsite information for Seminole campground in Sequoyah State Park? Also, if one can reserve golf teetimes online, why cant we reserve a campsite online? The State promotes tourism for cabin or lodge stays and gives RVing a very low priority. There should be no reason to have to Call each campground for RV site information.

Great place,beach was rocky and full of algea.Marina serves good breakfast.Saw bluebirds and scissor-tails and vultures.

Enjoyed this park very much. Took our new travel trailer for it's shake down on Labor Day and was surprised to get a nice spot on the grass area w/o reservations. Friendly staff and park was kept orderly and fairly quiet after 10p.m.
