My family & I have went to sparrow hawk for years but decided last year not to go back. We were told the old owner had passed & found out quickly the place is not the same with the new owners. The old owner was very hospitable to their guests but the new ones obviously don't know what they are doing. To many complaints to write them all.

there is a sign behind theri counter reading their service will vary depending on their mood. They aren't joking! WOW was all i could say as I walked out of that place and on to another business who was happier to have customers who were 1st timers, happier to answer questions, happier to take my money, and happier with life in general! JUST WOW! so rude.. sooo expensive compared to other places. I WON'T go back there and I WILL tell my friends and family.

Stayed two nights with the family on the campgrounds. Had a good time and the kids had fun. Campsites are nice for the area and are close to the water and a nice swim area for the kids .The staff answered all questions and delt with problems that came up. It did only have one large group bathroom so it was crouded . Little thrown off by the karioke till midnight and trying to sleep in a tent you can hear it pretty good. I also didn't see a playground or trampoline and only one volleyball pit . So I hope to find these things next time cause in the discreption on the sites says they have them and if not would be cool to see this improvement for the kids . We will be going back , might even try the bunkhouse or cabins next time .

Worst customer service on the planet. The ladies in the office were rude and added an extra fee to my bill for the people in my group with their own kayaks without even asking me. I had to give them my keys as a deposit. At the end they treated me like they expected I would steal their kayak paddles. Only go here if you're okay being treated like trash.
