I visited this campground this weekend, I had a fantastic time. I rented one of the cabins and it exceeded my expectations. If you love to camp, and love the outdoors this is the place for you. It was a short car ride from the scenic drive, I was allowed to bring my dog, I was fed a wonderful breakfast, and had a warm place to sleep. The fire pit was great, and enjoyed a campfire well into the night. It felt very safe, and the owners were super friendly. If you really like the outdoors you can't get better than this. I left thinking about how soon I could plan my next visit.

I don't know what planet this camper was from when they visited the fine people at this campground. They must have been having a family disagreement. You know the kind..the wife does not want to go camping and the husband wants to get back to nature! Yes, there is a train in the area and yes there is a correction facility in the same area. Big deal! If the camper had asked or read the web site, they would have known the massage is a pre arranged reservation and the hot tub is a hydro tub with massage jets. Has anyone ever been to a camp that did not have a few bugs. Let me know where in the world that may be, I want to verify. The large pond has natural springs and is a place to swim as well as fish. It is clean water and four kinds of fish live there. The camper did not get out of the car or cabin to look around. The volleyball and basketball area is a short distance from the camp sites. As for food service, the web site tells the camper that food is catered in the large dining facility on reservatons. The beverage barn is for special catered events. Asking questions for special needs seems like a first step for any person with simple wits about them. Tell me this camper type never inquires at the front desk of a hotel about what is available and where. The dysfunction in this type of personality explains why they had the need to try and slam a perfectly great camping area that a lot of folks have enjoyed since it was built in 2005. It is still there and open. I guess that speaks for itself. If all the horible things this person said were true, they would have closed years ago. Thank you for printing another view.
