Great park, some of the best sand beaches anywhere! Coming from Kansas, I would definitely make this park my go-to weekend destination, and tell all my friends, just a short drive from Wichita. VERY sad to hear it is closing, just after finding it! Too bad your state doesn't do a better job of promoting it's assets, and instead closes them down. If we had anything close to this in our state, everyone would be there for the summer!

Love this place! The bathroom, are always nice & cleaned the beach is very sandy, the lake is actually petty cleaned. Got a beautiful view! & not a lot of partying going on. Very nice for family time!!! On the down side it does has a lot of stickers & ants!! But for the most part its a beautiful park!!!
