Ed, we're sorry you haven't been able to reserve a site at Waurika Lake. That area is managed by the Corps of Engineers and that's the only phone number we have for the property. You may try to contact them through the email box on their page, which you'll find by clicking the orange website button above. We also have six more campgrounds in Duncan listed at www.travelok.com/duncan. Just scroll down to the box that says 'Campgrounds' and the individual pages will have more information. We hope this helps. Thank you for using TravelOK.com!

For whatever reason none of the RV sites on any of the camp grounds at lake Waurika list as available in the coming weeks as well as the foreseeable future. Ive tried calling the listed phone number & extensions to no avail. Question is are the RV sites available this time of year. Would like to know as we are planning a trip to the Duncan area 15 thru 18 Oct. The other nearby lakes, Humphreys and Clear Creek, are electric only. BTW thanks for your earlier reply on my question.

Grew up fishing this lake in the 90's and early 2000's. Love this place but its so sad to see it go the way it has due to drought and algae. Looking forward to crappie season this year anyway!

What are her water tables? The lake was extremely low when my husband and I visited at the end of spring. It was sad.

We were camping the lake the entire week of July 4th 2012 nd seen NO sign of blue green algea. We boated, jet skied, and swam and had no problems what so ever!!!
