Below please find a listing of events taking place in Broken Arrow January-March, 2008.

Name of Event: Silent Movie Night hosted by the Sooner State Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society
Date: January 18, 2008
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Details: There will be a showing of the 1928 classic, "Wings", which is the only silent movie ever to win an Academy Award (Best Picture, 1929). It will be accompanied by Bill Rowland playing the mighty Robert-Morton theatre pipe organ at the Tulsa Technology Center Seminar Center. Popcorn and lemonade will be provided.
Location for Event: Tulsa Technology Center Seminar Center, 129th E. Ave. and 111th (Florence and Olive).
Cost: Free and open to the public (donations will be accepted to be used for organ maintenance).

Name of Event: "Yesterday" A tribute to the Beatles!
Date: Saturday, Jan. 26
Time: 7:30 p.m. (Doors open at 7:00)
Details: Second of the 2007-2008 Encore! Series, presented by the BA Arts & Humanities Council.
Location for Event: BA North Intermediate High School Auditorium
Cost: $10. Tickets available at all four Arkansas Valley State Bank locations and at Arrow Flowers, 213 S. Main.

Name of Event: Safari's WILD Valentines Deliveries
Date: Feb. 13-15

Details: February 13-15, 2008 (Wed-Fri) Safari’s WILD Valentines Deliveries! We bring a real lemur (primate) to your special one with a red rose, take a picture for them to remember the occasion; plus we give a Valentines card with 2 free admission passes to Safari’s. Only $65. So much better than just flowers and candy!

Name of Event: Breast Impressions and Green Country Roller Girl "Bout Against Breast Cancer"
Date: Sunday, March 9
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Details: Educational, sports and charity event. The Green Country Roller Derby Girls vs. The Northwest Arkansas Roller Derby Girls in this first ever "Bout Against Breast Cancer". The team members have been cast in plaster, and local artists have decorated their casts which will be sold in auction at the event. Proceeds will benefit the Young Survival Coalition, which is a national support system for women experiencing breast cancer under the age of 40. Each woman through the door will receive a shower breast health self exam card compliments of the Komen Foundation. Drawings throughout the night for fabulous door prizes provided by many of Broken Arrow's finest businesses. And rock'em sock'em action for the entire family! Roller Derby Girls are TOUGH, but so are Breast Cancer Survivors!
Location for Event: Broken Arrow Roller Sports, 551 W. Oakland Place.
Cost: $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Children under 12 free with adult.

Name of Event: Safari's St. Patty's Day Safari Style
Date: March 15-16
Time: 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Details: (Sat-Sun) St.Patty’s Day Safari Style –wear green get ½ price admission! Everyone will be green with envy when you bring them to play with these awesome rescued animals up close and personal –totally interactive. Safari’s is a dream for animal lovers.
Location for Event: Broken Arrow's Safari's Sanctuary, 26881 E. 58th Street
Cost: Admission $6 for ages 13-65, $5 for children 3-12 (under 3 free, over 65 $4), with half price for those wearing green.

Name of Event: Safari's 13th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Date: March 23 (Easter Sunday)
Time: 2 p.m.
Details: Thousands of eggs, 2 age groups (under 5, and 5-12). Hunt is FREE with paid admission to Safari’s… have some Easter fun then play with animals!! Bring a camera!
