By Tourism Industry Partner
Tulsa, OK., May 2, 2011 – Tulsa International Mayfest, which will be held May 19-22 in downtown Tulsa, releases its list of over 100 participating Juried and Market Artists that will be showing and selling their artwork in booths along Main Street during the festival.
“I am thrilled with the selection of participating artists this year,” said Debby Raskin, Mayfest Visual Artist Chair. “We have some Mayfest favorites returning along with new artists that are sure to be well received.”
Visual artists are accepted into Mayfest after a highly selective jurying process. Fine art in a variety of mediums, including everything from clay to wood, is represented. Additionally, the Mayfest Market is comprised of artists and craftsmen that usually feature items such as toys, folk art, calligraphy, etc. The names, mediums and artwork examples of each participating artist can be found at www.tulsamayfest.org.
