(Vinita) – The Bentonville Flute Circle will provide the entertainment at Summerside Vineyards, Winery & Meadery in Vinita during their “Earth Day Bud Break Festival” on Sat., April 23, 2011.

The celebration starts at 11 AM with music at 12:30.   The Bentonville Flute Circle was founded in 2009 and encourages the preservation, appreciation, and the advancement of traditional and contemporary First Nations Flutes.  The circle provides an atmosphere that encourages everyone to grow musically, from the beginner to the recording artist.  They always enjoy sharing the gifts of fellowship and everyone is invited to participate.

During intermission Summerside will hold a short “Blessing of the Vines”. Participants will walk through the vines and see the 2011 bud break of the Chambourcin Vineyard along Historic Route 66 in front of the winery’s courtyard. Summerside invites all to enjoy this time honored celebration of the earth’s spring season. No admission charge for flute circle activities, and of course our Made in Oklahoma wine and meads to taste. As always we have an array of grape juices for all to enjoy also. The Bistro also offers soups, sandwiches, salads and desserts.
