(Norman, Okla.) Monday, Jan. 24, 2011 — “This event is similar to our Chili Bowl in the fall and provides an opportunity to see and select from a wide variety of student and faculty creativity. All pieces are under 12” x 12” and include paintings, prints, ceramics, sculptures and photography,” says Mary Jo Watson, director of the School of Art and Art History.

 

The University of Oklahoma School of Art and Art History and the Arts Alliance presents Art from the Heart a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on Monday, February 14, in the Lightwell Gallery. Entrance is $15 and includes all you can eat soup, sandwiches and one piece of original art. Soup and sandwiches without a piece of art will be $10.


“This would be a perfect gift for a last minute Valentine or a great way to add to your own collection,” says Watson. “We’ll also be holding a raffle for a unique bouquet of flowers, compliments of local florist, Design 2000. All proceedswill fund Art & Art History student scholarships.”
