CENTRAL OKLAHOMA – Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream Aug. 4-Sept. 3 in Oklahoma City. See this Shakespeare comedy at the new Myriad Gardens Water Stage at 8 p.m. each Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. For more info or tickets: oklahomashakespeare.com.

Join the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum for the First Person Summer Series each Friday at 1:30 p.m. through Aug. 26. The First Person: Stories of Hope program invites visitors to hear from people whose stories allow us to experience history from those who lived it. Norman’s Second Friday Circuit of Art is Aug. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Downtown Norman and on the OU campus. This monthly, citywide celebration of art is a collaboration of artists, art organizations and businesses with everything from dance, painting, photography, music and more. Historic Downtown Guthrie hosts the monthly Second Saturday and Sunday Too event Aug. 13-14. For two days, downtown retailers stay open late along with artists, musicians and other special promotions throughout downtown. The event concludes with the 2nd Sunday Tea Dance featuring The Al Good Orchestra from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Aug. 14 at the R&R Event Center at the old Sante Fe Depot. For more info: guthrieok.com.
