Oklahoma City - On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, December 2-4, 2010, at the Civic Center Music Hall, Chesapeake Energy presents the Oklahoma City Philharmonic's annual Christmas show: A Very Merry Pops, featuring Broadway stars Jeff McCarthy and Gwendolyn Jones.

Maestro Joel Levine and director Lyn Cramer have assembled a spectacular Broadway-style revue with holiday treats for all including Silver Bells, White Christmas, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Sleigh Ride, What Child Is This?, Do You Hear What I Hear?, and more! Featuring the vocal talents of the OKC Philharmonic Pops Chorale led by chorus master Vince Leseney, the dancing talents of OU's Mistoletoes, the joy of the transforming Santa-tizer, and this year the grace and beauty of Oklahoma City Ballet dancers Miki Kawamura and David Barocio, this is a program that delights the entire family. And don't miss returning featured tap dancer, OU Music Theatre Major, and native Oklahoman Alicia Clark.

A Very Merry Pops shines with gorgeous arrangements of Christmas classics for full orchestra, plus fully staged production numbers, dancing, singing, and comedy. Regular performances on December 3 and 4 at 8:00pm with special performances offered on Thursday, December 2 at 7:30pm and Saturday, December 4 at 2:00pm. This is the perfect gift to give the family, friends, church group, or anyone who enjoys the holiday spirit.
