(Norman, Okla.) November 2, 2010 — Come taste a variety of homemade chilies and desserts and take home a one-of-a-kind ceramic bowl. These beautiful handmade bowls are food, dishwasher and oven safe and are created by OU ceramic students and members of The Red Clay Faction. All of the bowls are individually designed and will be available on a first come, first serve basis.  All proceeds will fund Art & Art History student scholarships.

 

The University of Oklahoma School of Art and Art History present the Chili Bowl fundraiser from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, in the Lightwell Gallery. Chili and a handmade ceramic bowl will sell for $15. Chili without a ceramic bowl will sell for $8.  

 

This fundraiser is sponsored by the Arts Alliance, the Red Clay Faction and will fund scholarships for students in the University of Oklahoma School of Art and Art History. For more information on the Chili Bowl fundraiser, please contact Margaret Kinkeade at (405) 325-2691.
