By Tourism Industry Partner
The Mabel C. Fry Library and the Yukon Parks & Recreation Department have joined together once again this year to offer a book sale and craft festival. The Pumpkin Harvest Craft Festival and Friends of the Library Paperback Book Sale will be held Saturday, November 6th at the Robertson Activity Center and Mabel C. Fry Library, Highway 66 & Mustang Road. “By joining with the library, it has increased participation and interest,” explains Jan Scott, Yukon Parks & Recreation Director.
The Pumpkin Harvest Craft Festival will feature over 40 craft vendors from across Oklahoma. Booths include jewelry, candles, wood crafts, home décor, and many more goodies. While at the craft festival, everyone may visit the popular Pumpkin Patch Café, home of the famous Taco Soup. The Friends of the Park Bake Sale will be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. Festival hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and FREE to the public.
The Friends of the Library Paperback Book sale will be held next door on the front porch of the library. Paperback books are fifty cents each. A box of romance novels will be five dollars. There will also be some craft books available at various prices. The book sale is open to the public from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
