2011 Christmas in Downtown Edmond

 

A Christmas wonderland will fill downtown Edmond beginning November 25th with beautiful lights, breathtaking window decorations and Christmas trees all a glow.   The star at the top of downtown’s tree will be the Edmond Outdoor Ice Rink Presented by:  Edmond Electric and will open on November 25, 2011 through January 3.   This will be a wonderful treat for everyone as we welcome the splendor and spirit of Christmas 2011.

 

The annual Edmond Electric Parade of Lights, which is co-sponsored by the Downtown Edmond Business Association, will be held December 1st at 6:45 p.m. and will arrive in downtown Edmond around 6:50 pm.  Each weekend will be filled with music, food, free Christmas wagon rides, and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Bring your camera there will be a Kodak moment at every turn.

November 25th              Edmond Outdoor Ice Rink opens at Festival Market Place

 

December 1st                Edmond Electric Parade of Lights steps off from the UCO campus at 6:45 pm in Downtown Edmond at 6:50

 

December 3rd                Dickens Day in Downtown Edmond with merchants dressed in Dickens style

 

December 3rd                Edmond Historical Society Gingerbread House Contest

December 17                Scouting For Christmas.  Join the Boy and Girl Scout troops in Downtown Edmond as they provide a Special Christmas for others.
