CENTRAL OKLAHOMA – Central Oklahoma is full of egg hunts, photos with the Easter bunny and many other activities for children and families this Easter holiday. Here is a list of Easter happenings in central Oklahoma:

 

  • April 16  29th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
    Buck Thomas Park, Moore

    Info: Enjoy an Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon with prize eggs and lots of candy. Bring a camera for pictures with the Easter bunny. Rain-out: Moore Community Center.

 

  • April 16  Old Town Moore Easter Scavenger Hunt
    Old Town Moore

    Info: Pick-up your scavenger game piece at Broadway Florist. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Old Town merchants will have the treasures you’re looking for to claim your Grand Chocolate Prize from the Easter bunny (while supplies last). Pictures with the Easter bunny are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

  • April 20  Sam Noble Museum "Eggstravaganza”
    Sam Noble Museum, Norman
    Info: The “Eggstravaganza” from 4 to 7 p.m. includes FREE museum admission, games, crafts, face painting, photos with the Easter bunny and egg hunt on the museum grounds. The egg hunt begins at 6:30 p.m. with 4,000 eggs!

 

  • April 23  Easter Celebration
    The Orr Family Farm, Oklahoma City

    Info: Join Orr Family Farm for an Easter celebration complete with Easter egg hunts at 11:30 a.m, 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

 

  • April 24  Easter Brunch
    National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma City

    Info: This lovely buffet is hosted by the Museum's Dining on Persimmon Hill restaurant in the majestic Sam Noble Special Events Center. Museum admission included. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations required.

 

  • April 24  Frontier City's Easter Egg Hunt
    Frontier City, Oklahoma City
    Info: Frontier City hosts an Easter Egg Hunt with over 5,000 eggs and more than $1,000 worth of prizes. Hunt is FREE with park admission and held in the concert area. Children ages 3 and under will hunt at 3 p.m., children ages 4-6 at 3:30 p.m. and children ages 7-10 at 4 p.m.

 

  • April 24  HOPabaloo
    Oklahoma City Zoo

    Info: Hop to the Zoo for brunch with the Easter bunny and a day of fun. Brunch times are 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and the cost is $17 for adults and $12 for children ages three-11 and seniors. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at okczoo.com. Enjoy other activities on Zoo grounds from 1 to 3 p.m. including Krispy Kreme doughnuts, a craft station, an animal encounter (meet our Children’s Zoo bunnies!), animal feedings and the Tiny Tot Egg Scrambles for ages five and under.
