The Edmond Historical Society & Museum’s Board of Director is currently taking nominations for their upcoming Heritage Dinner on May 19, 2011. This bi-annual event features individuals and/or groups from Edmond who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to better their community.

The first area the museum is taking nominations for is Roll of Honor. Roll of Honor can be described as an individual or group who has contributed substantial, multiple volunteer or supportive endeavors that provide lasting benefits for the entire Edmond community. Roll of Honor winners will be recognized at the event.

The Edmond Historical Society & Museum is also seeking nominees for three Preservation Awards, which can be explained as an individual, organization or company who has made a significant contribution towards the preservation of the history of Edmond, OK. The Preservation Awards are broken into three categories; Building & Site Location, Art Achievement, and Community Service. Nomination forms are due by April 1, 2011.
