Enid Event Highlights Settlers' Stories
By Tourism Industry Partner
Legend says “Dead men tell no tales.” That’s not the case in Enid, where on October 15, dead men (and women) will tell their tales during a horse-drawn wagon ride through the Enid Cemetery! Tombstone Tales, sponsored by the Chisholm Trail Coalition, is Saturday, October 15, with rides leaving the northwest gate of the Enid Cemetery between 6:45 pm and 9 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children, and reservations are required. Call (580) 233-3643, extension 1 or (580) 242-2233 to reserve your ride. Hear how the early settlers staked their claim in northwest Oklahoma.
