First Friday At Copper Features Taylor Thompson
By Tourism Industry Partner
BARTLESVILLE, OK – Copper Bar welcomes a local musician to its First Friday concert for July. Taylor Thompson will play on Friday, July1st. The concert will be held on the 15th Floor of Frank Lloyd Wright’s National Historic Landmark skyscraper.
“We are always pleased to host local bands to our line-up,” said Tim Boruff, executive director for Price Tower Arts Center. “Part of the reason we started this concert series was to provide a venue for people to enjoy new entertainers on the Bartlesville music scene.”
Thompson was voted a top 100 unsigned artist by Emergenza in 2006. In 2008, he played with the China Dream winner (Chinese American Idol equivalent). His debut album was recorded in 2010. Crooked Little House is available through iTunes and other online merchants.
The First Friday concert will begin at 8 p.m. It is free for those over 21 to attend. For more information, contact Price Tower Arts Center at 918.336.4949 or online at pricetower.org.
