The Grand Lake Area Chamber is pleased to announce a Youth Scavenger Hunt for the opportunity to win a $50 savings account at Oklahoma State Bank of Langley. At the Hook N Cook off, the Chamber held an Art Contest where the winners had their pictures sent to the Oklahoma State Capitol to be displayed in the halls of the capitol.

There were many great pictures and they will be used for a scavenger hunt around Grand Lake. There are eleven participating businesses that will have four to five pictures at each building. Any youth, under 18 can participate by getting a scavenger hunt sheet which will name the participating businesses. They just need to go in, look at the artwork and have one of the employees of the business sign the scavenger hunt sheet.

Once they get 7 of the 11 businesses to sign they need to bring the sheet to the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and they will receive a special prize, while supplies last, and they will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win the $50 savings account at Oklahoma State Bank of Langley.

You can either come by the chamber office to get a sheet, pick one up at a participating business, call the office at 918-782-3214 and we will either email or fax it to you. The Chamber will also be mailing them to the local schools that participated in the contest.

The businesses that will be participating are Cedar Port Marina, Rae’s of Nature, Zsa Zsa Zsu, M.A.D. House Artists, 1st Christian Church of Langley, Cleora United Methodist Church, Grand Lake Association, Jones Hardware, Bank of the Lakes in Ketchum, Oklahoma State Bank on Monkey Island and Speedy’s 66.

The contest will begin November 25th and the final drawing for the winner will be December 19th. All forms need to be turned in by December 16th.
