Free Farm Admission for Moms

 

(OKLAHOMA CITY) -  Visit the Orr Family Farm in Oklahoma City Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a Marvelous Mother's Day event. Admission to the Farm is only $10.50 plus tax per person and all moms get in free.

 

Children can mine for gemstones for mom at the Neal Simpson Mine and learn about the exciting world of semi-previous stones by panning through hidden treasures such as rubies, emeralds, quartz, pyrite and more. Bags of Mining Rough can be purchased for $5 or $7.50.

 

If you are a looking for a thrilling activity to spice up your holiday, try a ride on the four lane zip line.  The zip line stands 20 feet tall and is 450 feet long, with top speeds reaching 25 miles per hour. Riders are required to complete a ground school training course with their professional staff to learn the proper technique and equipment use. Riders must weigh at least 70 pounds to participate.

 

The Orr Family Farm offers many attractions the whole family can enjoy. Take a ride around the Farm on a replica of the United States' first transcontinental locomotive, the Jupiter, and visit friendly animals in the barn. You can race against the clock in the 4,900 square-foot Amaze'n Maze, ride the 1974 vintage carousel, jump on the jumping pillows and much more.
