Historic Downtown Guthrie Hosts Farmers & Crafters Market
By Tourism Industry Partner
(May 31, 2010) Guthrie, OK - The Guthrie Farmers & Crafters market begins Saturday, June 4 in historic downtown Guthrie. The market is proud to offer goods that are grown and made locally, and will be held every Saturday in June through September, from 8 a.m. to noon.
“We have local farmers, artists, crafters and even something for the family pet at our market,” said Veronica Morava, Director of Sales for the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce.
There will be face painters at the market for kids, which adds to the relaxed family atmosphere.
This is the fourth year the market will be held in Guthrie, and its vendor list has grown every year.
“The Gunfighters also frequent the market,” Morava added. “This is an event for everyone in your family!”
The Farmers market is located on First Street between Harrison Avenue and Oklahoma Avenue. Applications for vendors are currently being accepted, for more information call (405) 282-1947.
