Woolaroc announced today a special holiday Christmas “thank you” to NE Oklahoma and SE Kansas …….Woolaroc’s Wonderland of Lights will be FREE to the public on Friday, December 23rd and Saturday, December 24th from 5 – 9 pm.   This will be a drive thru/walk thru weekend only…..there will be no wagon rides and the buildings will be closed, but the lights will be on and the Christmas carols playing so that people can drive through and enjoy the lights.

Since admission to Wonderland will be free the last two nights, Woolaroc is asking people to bring a canned food item which they can drop at the Front Gate when they arrive…..all of these items will be donated to a local charity in order to help those people in need this holiday season.

According to Bob Fraser, Woolaroc CEO, “we are doing this for people who have family and friends in for Christmas…this way, they will have the opportunity to see the beautiful lights and the calm serenity of the main campus at Woolaroc covered in Christmas lights.   This is our way of wishing everyone a special Merry Christmas.   We are also hoping that our guests will bring a canned food item which we will donate to a local charity, it’s just another way our guests and Woolaroc can help others during this holiday season.   As most people know, we usually reverse the regular entry drive for our Wonderland of Lights…..but on this “FREE” weekend, we will have cars enter the normal route, just like you would normally drive into Woolaroc.”
