Nut House Hosts Antique and Craft Show
The Nut House on Route 66 is the place to be April 28 and 29! Home to the Antique and Craft Show, this event will showcase local handcrafted items, jewelry, crafts, decorative items, and assorted odds and ends.
“In the past, we’ve had antique dealers from out of state, but we would like to see more dealers from our Green Country area,” said Hazel. “People want to feel they have a piece of Oklahoma, Rogers County, or Claremore when they buy from this event.”
The show will be open from 10 am to 6 pm both Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29. There is still plenty of booth space available for those who are interested, and applications will be taken until April 20. Application forms are available on the website at www.route66nuthouse.com. There is limited space for inside vendors and plenty of outdoor space for more!
The Nut House will have its delicious variety of nuts, gourmet food items, and gifts during the Antique and Craft Show. Hot Mama’s Deli will be serving up yummy lunch fare for the event, with a full menu including sandwiches made from Boars Head Meat and Amish cheeses. Homemade dessert items have also been added to the menu such as the Gooey Butter Cake and Knock Ya Naked Brownies.
The Antique and Craft Show is part of Destination Claremore, a weeklong event featuring Claremore’s great attractions and local favorites. “We are hoping for great weather,” says Hazel. “Be sure to stop out at The Nut House to see us!”
