Olive Drop Menu Unveiled
By Tourism Industry Partner
BARTLESVILLE, OK – Planning continues for the eighth annual Olive Drop celebration at Price Tower Arts Center. The New Year’s Eve event promises a delicious, five course meal. The dinner is being prepared by Outlaws Gourmet Catering.
“We are really excited about this year’s dinner. We have put together a menu that will be unlike any of the other offerings in Bartlesville,” said Tim Boruff, executive director of Price Tower Arts Center. “People are going to be treated to an impressive meal and fabulous service.”
The hors d’oeurves will include an assortment of gourmet cheeses, dried fruits and water crackers. The appetizers will include Sherried Maine Lobster and Roasted Corn Bisque and Blackened Ahi Tuna Caesar Salad. Guests will also have their choice of entrée: USDA Prime Filet Mignon topped with Jumbo Lump Crab and Béarnaise or Grilled Alaskan Halibut topped with Crawfish Etouffee and Dirty Rice. Cranberry-Glazed White Chocolate Cheesecake will be offered for dessert.
Prices for the 7th Annual Olive Drop dinner are consistent with last year’s event. And, there are several options for those who are interested in taking part. All of the options for the evening include the champagne toast at midnight when the large green olive will be dropped from the top of the Price Tower into a large martini glass at the base of the building.

“We’re accepting dinner reservations for seatings at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. And, keep in mind, Copper Bar will also be open all evening for folks to mingle before and after dinner,” added Boruff. 'There is no better way to ring in the New Year than to spend the night in Frank Lloyd Wright's only realized skyscraper!'
At midnight, guests will move outside for the Olive Drop. The event will include a complimentary champagne toast, a spotlight and countdown to ring in the New Year. The public is also invited to gather at midnight to watch the Olive Drop.
