Tulsa, Ok —July, 25 2011:  To complement and enhance its current exhibition, Rauschenberg at Gemini (June 12-Sept. 11), on Saturday, August 27 from 1-5pm, Philbrook Museum of Art is hosting Combined Impressions, an afternoon celebrating of the life, work and influence of Robert Rauschenberg, one of the 20th century’s most important artists.  Special guests will include Rauschenberg biographer, Mary Lynn Kotz and Stanley Grinstein, co-founder of Los Angeles-based Gemini G.E.L. Through lectures, performances, conversations, and interactive breaks, you’ll be immersed in the mind and creative process of this iconic artist. Topics explored include the artist’s life, print production, and diverse collaborations with other artists, choreographers, and composers. The day will conclude with an after party featuring cocktails, live music, and optional interactive screen-printing. This event is presented in partnership with The Cunningham Dance Foundation, The John Cage Trust, and Gemini G.E.L.
