Rodeo Miami Parade Entries Sought

(Miami, OK) – Entry forms are now being accepted for the Rodeo Miami Parade, scheduled to step off at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 29th. The parade route will begin at Vance Ford and end at the Miami Fairgrounds.
“A Little Cowboy in all of us” is the theme for this event.
Entry forms are available at the City of Miami Visitor Center/CVB Office at 101 N. Main Street, inside the Coleman Theatre, or in the Utility Office located at Miami City Hall.
This year’s categories include floats, high school marching bands, middle school marching bands, best dressed cowboy, best dressed cowgirl, best use of theme award, best horse drawn vehicle, and best classic car. Businesses are also encouraged to participate in a citywide window decorating contest. Windows must be decorated by Thursday, April 28th at 5 p.m. Businesses must register their window with the Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and judging will take place the morning of Saturday, April 30th. It is free to enter the contest. The business with the winning window display will be awarded two VIP passes and 2 tickets to the Meet & Greet with Josh Gracin.
With all parade entries, there is no fee per entry. Award winners will be announced on Friday, April 29th during the Rodeo.
