Rodeo Miami Set for April 26-28 - Tickets Now on Sale
(Miami, OK) – Coming off of an award winning year, Rodeo Miami 2012, presented by Vance Ford, is expected to be the largest ACRA rodeo event in the region. The cowboys & cowgirls of the ACRA (American Cowboys Rodeo Association) selected Rodeo Miami as the 2010 and 2011 Rodeo of the Year. “The team effort between the Fair Board, City of Miami and NEO A&M has resulted in producing one of the finest rodeo events in North America and the community partnership sets a great example for us all” said NEO A&M College President Dr. Jeff Hale.
Through the teamwork and combined efforts of all organizations, the event continues to have a substantial economic impact on the community. The Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau reported Rodeo Miami as one of the top events having produced a significant increase in visitor spending. “This event brings a high amount of non-locals into our region and is great for the tourism industry”, says Amanda Davis, CVB Executive Director with the City of Miami.
Businesses are encouraged to support Queen and Princess Contestants currently selling sponsorships, program ads and tickets. The 2012 Rodeo Miami Queen will receive a $1500 NEO Rodeo Scholarship and a three slant horse trailer. The 2012 Rodeo Miami Princess will receive a saddle.
