RV Rally to Be Held in Central Oklahoma

CENTRAL OKLAHOMA – Frontier Country Marketing Association, representing the 12 central counties of Oklahoma known as Frontier Country, will host the Red Dirt RV Rally May 12-15 at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center in Shawnee.
The RV rally is the first for Frontier Country Marketing Association as it wishes to tap into new and growing markets of travelers.
“Situated at the crossroads of I-35, I-40, I-44 and historic Route 66, Central Oklahoma Frontier Country is ideally located for travelers of all types,” said Sherri Rogers, executive director of Frontier Country Marketing Association. “RV travelers are an essential part of tourism and we want to show them that central Oklahoma is worth stopping by for all of the things we have to do and see here.”
The Red Dirt RV Rally will include an exhibitors’ expo, games, seminars, crafts, sightseeing tours, golf outings and more. The rally will also feature themed nights for the guests such as a western barn dance with a barbecue dinner May 12, a 50s sock hop with an ice cream social May 13 and a drive-in movie night with movie theatre food and snacks May 14.
Registration fees for the Red Dirt RV Rally vary around $150.
