Second Saturday Art Walk Throughout Historic Downtown Guthrie

April 9 is the next Second Saturday Art Walk throughout Historic Downtown Guthrie.
Simply Oklahoma, one of the largest art galleries you will ever experience, is hosting a special preview afternoon with four of their many fine artists:
Thomas Stotts, Scenic/landscape watercolorist
Ed Helm, pottery & Raku
Gene Stewart, western & Native American oil painter
Susen Foster, natural stone jewelry designer
Simply Oklahoma, the 18,000 square foot, beautifully renovated two story art gallery, is filled wall to wall and floor to ceiling with the very best from a huge variety of only Oklahoma artists in any medium you can imagine and some you can’t.
It is at Located at 108 So. Division Street in the heart of Guthrie’s art district. Exit 153 off I-35
Saturday April 9, meet the artists and watch them at work. There will be special sales and drawings throughout the gallery, as well as live Native American flute music by Bill Merickel, Scotch Bonnet Pepper Jelly tastings by Suan Grant, and toy making demonstrations by Butch Lindsey.
As the name reflects, all the artists in Simply Oklahoma are from Oklahoma and their art is handcrafted.
