Oklahoma City - On Wendesday, April 20, 2011, at 7:30pm, at the Civic Center Music Hall, the Oklahoma City Orchestra League, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and Oklahoma Youth Orchestras present the 2011 Side By Side Concert.

This concert brings together members of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic with some of Oklahoma's brightest young musicians. This year's program, under the direction of Maestro Joel Levine, features Wagner's "Die Meistersinger Prelude", Mussorgsky's "Night on Bald Mountain", Borodin's "Prince Igor: Polovtsian Dances", and Grondahl's "Trombone Concerto", with soloist Trenton Howard of Owasso. Howard is the Carver Competition Brass Winner and Overall Winner of this year's Music Olympics and was hand-selected by Maestro Levine to be this year's Side By Side soloist.
