Spring Break Theatre Camp Is Back at the Henthorne Performing Arts Center
By Tourism Industry Partner
Clark Youth Theatre will once again hold a Spring Break Theatre Camp! This is a great opportunity for anyone aged 8-14 who’s interested in getting involved in theatre. The camp includes classes on acting, dancing, singing, and other performance skills. The cost is $100.
The dates for Spring Break Theatre Camp 2011 are March 14-18, Monday through Friday.
Classes begin at 8:30 am and end at 4:30 pm. The camp has early drop off at 7:30 am and late pick up at 5:30 pm. There will be a performance for family and friends the last day of the session beginning at 5:15 and lasting until 6:30. Children will need to bring a sack lunch each day.
For more information, call 746-5065. To register, you must come into the Henthorne Performing Arts Center and enroll in person. Payment is due at the time of enrollment.
The teachers this year will be David Lawrence (acting), Kathy Grufik (dance), and Ashley Anselme (vocal music). All our teachers have multiple years of teaching experience.
Heller and Clark Theatres together have won 4 TATE awards for theatrical excellence, more than any other theatre. Our seasons are again made possible in part through the generosity of the George Kaiser Family Foundation.
Henthorne Performing Arts Center is part of the Park and Recreation Department of the City of Tulsa. Home to Heller and Clark Theatres, the Henthorne PAC is located at 4825 S Quaker just east of 48th and Peoria.
