Tulsa, OK 74105
Three Rivers Museum celebrates the holidays with an Open House on Saturday, December 17, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is located at 220 Elgin in Muskogee.
The museum comes alive with an energetic holiday spirit in Santa’s Workshop when Santa and his Elves assist young and old with various craft projects, according to Sue Tolbert of the museum.
A special Christmas Memories exhibit is a feast for the eyes and includes Santa’s big chair for great photo opportunities. The museum shop will be open for last-minute shopping.
“Local authors will be on hand to autograph their books, adding a special touch to those gifts,” Tolbert said. Attending authors and their books are: Roger Bell, “Muskogee;” R.D. Morgan, “Irish O’Malley and the Ozark Mountain Boys;” Linda Moore, “Grant Foreman-A Biography;” Karen Wagner, “Bivouac of the Dead” (Fort Gibson National Cemetery); Pat Isbell and Judy Dotson, “Braggs Books (7 volumes); and David Jones, “Muskogee Rythms.”

The Three Rivers Museum is a member of Green Country Marketing Assn, one of 11 multi-county organizations working with the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, the Oklahoma Travel Industry Assn. and the other multi-county associations to promote state tourism, a $6.2 billion industry.
