Toy & Action Figure Museum Features Green Lantern Weekend
By Tourism Industry Partner
The Toy & Action Figure Museum will be hosting a weekend long event to celebrate the release of the first ever GREEN LANTERN movie by Warner Bros.
Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 10AM to 7PM and Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 1PM to 5PM the museum will have some great GREEN LANTERN movie giveaways from the studio. As a special bonus to all the Green Lantern fans out there, you can get $1.00 off the museum admission if you wear green! Hey, come dressed completely as a Green Lantern and get in FREE! (Yeah, we really love Green Lantern here!)
In case you’re unfamiliar with the DC Comics Superhero, Green Lantern first appeared in the 1940’s as Alan Scott. Scott had a powerful Green Lantern ring and fought villains throughout the golden age of comics.
The modern day Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, first appeared in Showcase Comics #22 in October of 1959 and though there have been many Green Lanterns since then, this is the one that is featured in the upcoming summer film.
Come by the museum on Green Lantern weekend and see a new display devoted to the character as well as a large window display!
Yes, the Toy & Action Figure Museum is going green!
