Oklahoma City, OK--June 15, 2011:  Severe weather photographer David Mayhew joins storm chasers across tornado alley each year in search of the perfect storm to capture his unique world class fine art images. His pictures capture a vast array of weather phenomena including tornadoes, funnel clouds, supercell thunderstorms and lightning strikes. His engaging portfolio specializes in Skyscapes: an artistic interpretation of severe weather, designed to evoke an emotional response from both the drama and serenity of the sky.

Based in Colorado he is on the edge of Tornado Alley and at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. His Colorado weather images incorporate sunsets and sunrises that can illuminate even the most simple cumulus cloud. David Mayhew also frequently travels to National Parks such as Death Valley National Park, Arches National Park, Zion National Park, the Grand Canyon and more.

Visions In The Paseo will have on display over twenty of David’s stunning images.

David Mayhew’s exhibit will be on display at Visions in the Paseo, 2924 Paseo, OKC, from July 1st through August 3rd, 2011.

Visions is open Monday through Saturday from 11AM to 6PM and Sunday 1PM to 5PM.
